DAFO Turbo Softy
Product Features
The DAFO Turbo Softy uses a soft foam liner to provide more comfortable wraparound control of a fixed, less-correctable foot. This is combined with the same rigid outer AFO upright as the standard DAFO Turbo, designed to effectively block ankle movement. The DAFO Turbo Softy provides one of the highest levels of ankle/foot control available in the DAFO line of orthoses, with strong ankle plantarflexion and dorsiflexion block. The DAFO Turbo Softy is effective for patients who present with a crouched posture with some positional correction available at the hip, knee, and ankle. This design is also an effective solid-ankle brace.

Common Questions about DAFO Turbo Softy
DAFO Turbo Softy keeps the same rigid outer AFO upright and strong fixed-ankle control as the standard DAFO Turbo, but adds a soft foam liner for more comfortable wraparound control of a fixed, less-correctable foot.
It is best suited for patients with moderate to strong crouching or excess dorsiflexion, those who need a solid-ankle brace to limit ankle movement to a fixed position, and those who require extra padding for sensitive bony prominences.
